For the position of the string operations, the first position is marked as 1.
ASCII (STR)
Returns string of STR characters ASCII code value to the left side. If STR is an empty string, returns 0. If STR is NULL, return NULL.
Mysql> select ASCII (‘2’); 50mysql> select – > ASCII – > 50mysql> (2); select ASCII (‘dx’) > 100;

ORD (STR)
If the string STR to the left side of the character is a multi-byte character, through format ((first byte ASCII code) *256+ (second byte ASCII code)) [*256+third byte ASCII code…] returns the character ASCII code value to return multiple byte character code. If the left side of character is not a multibyte character. Returns the ASCII () function returns the same value.
Mysql> select ORD (‘2’) > 50;
CONV (N, from_base, to_base)
In the digital medium between different digital transformation. Returns the number of N number of strings, from the base from_base transform into to_base matrix, if any parameter is NULL, or NULL. Parameter N is interpreted as an integer, but can be specified as an integer or string. The minimum base is 2 and the maximum is 36. If to_base is a negative number, N is considered to be a signed number, otherwise, N is treated as unsigned number. CONV use 64 loci precision to work.
Mysql> select CONV (“a”, 16, 2); – >’1010’mysql> select CONV (“6E”, 18,8); – >’172’mysql> select CONV (-17,10, -18); CONV (10+ – >’-H’mysql> select “10” +’10’+0xa, 10,10,’40’);
BIN (N)
A string representation of a binary N, where N is a long integer (BIGINT) digital, this is equivalent to CONV (N, 10, 2). If N is NULL, return NULL.
Mysql> select BIN (12) – >’1100′;
OCT (N)
Represents a string octal value N, then N is a long integer, it is equivalent to CONV (N, 10,8). If N is NULL, return NULL.
Mysql> select OCT (12) – >’14’;
HEX (N)
Sixteen hexadecimal value that N returns a string, then N is a long integer (BIGINT) digital, this is equivalent to CONV (N, 10,16). If N is NULL, return NULL.
Mysql> select HEX (255) – >’FF’;
CHAR (N,…)
(CHAR) the parameter interpretation is an integer and returns a string consisting of the integers ASCII code character. The value of NULL is skipped.
Mysql> select CHAR (77121, 83, 81,’76’);
